You can only completely find yourself when you find yourself truly lost. The Life of Clutchy Hopkins is only the first of many works to come from this ever-changing legend that has become known as CLUTCHY HOPKINS. We hope you don't sleep on this groundbreaking movement that may just revolutionize the way the world percieves the evolution of funk. Please contact heckler79@msn.com with anything questions, comments, or support. One can only see the light in complete darkness. Diggers never sleep; sleepers never dig.
I have been trying to find out who this Clutchy Hopkins guy "really is" for about ....well since your first post. I went to his shity ass web site and reluctantly ordered his record. It arrived and has been on my turntable ever since. I started talking to some friends that kinda know people in the music biz. So, the Beastie Boys and Money Mark have come up in many blogs as being the ones behind this. Turns out my friend went to school with Mix Master Mike. I had him ask about Clutchy. He said that Mike laughed and said,"I cant believe that shit's working." The only hard evidence I really have is that Money Mark and Mix Master Mike's albums were both mastered by Dave Chepa.....and so was the Life of Clutchy Hopkins.
