Merge Records are having their 2006 CMJ showcase at Knitting Factory on Fri Nov 3. Tix are onsale. $10. An anonymous commentor has informed me that the following will be there:

White Whale are also going to be on Long Island on Fri Nov 3. Doors for that show are at 7:30PM. Doors for this are at 8:00PM. Not sure how they are going to pull that off. Underestimating the LIE is never a good idea.
